In the United states we have labor protection laws. This is so workers are; working in safe conditions, not forced to work unjust hours, given overtime pay, etc.
6. The Environment:
The United States has some of the most strict environmental laws related to manufacturing, which keeps our air and water clean.
7. JOBS, JOBS, JOBS.
I think we’re all sick of this crappy economy. Manufacturing in America creates jobs for workers of all levels. Factories need people for the hard labor, management, and top positions. According to MadeInTheUsa.com “If every American spent an extra $3.33 on U.S.-made products, it would create almost 10,000 new jobs.”
8. Tax Revenue:
Have you checked our debt clock lately? The United States of America is almost 18 trillion dollars in debt. Look at all these zeros —> $18,000,000,000,000. Ya, its pretty intense. Other nations are buying our debt, but don’t think that gets us off the hook. We, and by we, I mean every United States citizen (AKA you and me) has to pay that debt back with interest at some point. Notice the “at some point” part because our government just keeps putting it off. So basically, our government needs all the money they can get. If more people have paying jobs, they’re paying taxes, and the government isn’t paying them unemployment benefits. Therefore, our government has more money coming in and less going out.
9. The Economy: Buying American gives our economy a boost. Every time you support made in USA companies, you make it easier and more affordable for entire industries to move towards buying in America, encouraging more and more companies to manufacture and create jobs here at home. To put this in perspective , according to MadeInUSA.com” if every builder used just 5 percent more U.S.-made products, it would create 220,000 jobs.”
Every dollar you spend has a huge impact, so if you have a choice between a made in USA product or an imported product, go with the item made by Americans!
