Nico is a total scotch fanatic, when he saw this towering wall of whiskey he looked like a kid in a candy store. We will probably go back to Portland just to visit the Whiskey Library lol!
SUCH a cool spot. Multnomah Whiskey Library has 1,500 different whiskey selections. The food is amazing, I suggest the Salmon Crudo if you like salmon. Nico and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here.
Each bar/restaurant has its own unique style. There are SO many awesome places to check out. Even our hotel, Hotel Deluxe was super unique. The lobby had giant old Hollywood style photos everywhere.
The whole city is easily walkable. Nico and I spent our time in Portland bar hopping and checking out all the restaurants.
[^^^Another great bar with amazing craft cocktails: Kask^^^]
We ended up having dinner at Urban Farmer at The Nines Hotel. It was literally decorated like a farm, corn stalks and all! Our meal here was absolutely delicious. One thing I really loved about this place is they disclose what your food ate while it was alive. The menu listed whether your steak was corn, grain, or grass fed. I love that!
[Nico being adorable as usual.]
[Foie Gras on a waffle? Yes, please!]
Another thing I love about Portland, is how casual it is. The city definitely has a unique style, but you can pretty much get away with wearing anything.
I decided to wear this made in USA, black, long sleeve, high low top by Nightcap. It’s so soft and cozy, but also super edgy and unique. Unfortunately this top is no longer for sale, but I urge you to check out Nightcap’s other cute clothes.
The top has cut outs of geometric shapes filled with sheer black fabric, its not all one material.
I paired the top with these seriously rad Mila Hermanovski leggings. They also have unique designs. The leggings have diagonal cut outs of leather and stretchy mesh fabric on the calf. Mila Hermanovski leggings are probably the most unique, but still wearable leggings I’ve found. I love them.
I like wearing this top with these leggings because their unique features are similar to each other. I’m all about subtleties in my style. I don’t like to be over the top. This outfit is edgy, but isn’t over the top so it’s still classy.
What do you think? Do you guys like this outfit. I get more girly the rest of our time in Oregon, which I’ll share with you tomorrow.
I hope everyone had an amazing Labor Day Weekend! I will share the rest of our Portland trip and outfits tomorrow.
