I was lucky enough to spend a weekend in paradise, with my boyfriend, to celebrate my college roommates marriage to the man of her dreams! And let me tell ya, this wedding was absolutely out of this world.
Like, think of the most beautiful venues, most amazing people, and multiply your expectations by 1,000! I’ve never seen/experienced such a perfect weekend with such great people.
You may remember an earlier post about her bachelorette party (see HERE). Jordan and I met in college, she is such a doll. We joined the same sorority (Kappa Alpha Theta) and ended up living together. She’s not only a great friend, she’s a huge inspiration. She has a successful blog (Skinny Girl Standard), and gives me tons of tips for blogging.
Anyway, back to the wedding details!! If you follow me on snapchat or Instagram, you’ve seen some of these pictures already, but I am about to unload photos on you so get excited!
Props to the bride Jordan for organizing such a perfect weekend, I wish we could do it all over!
Here we go!
When we first arrived at our hotel, we were given welcome boxes filled with goodies: A note from the bride and groom, donuts, cookies, candy, champagne, it was soo sweet!
The first official event of the weekend was an all white welcome party! Complete with ordeurves, candlelight, roses, margaritas, mojitos, and yes SINATRA playing all night! So classy.
I wore this little number:
This exact dress is unfortunately no longer available, but here are a few of my favorite made in USA pieces from Torn By Ronny Kobo:
The second day, we hung out in South Beach. The Groomsman got a cabana at The Thompson Hotel. I had never been to South Beach so it was definitely exciting! I must say, everyone in this group is so sweet! We had a blast!
BTW made in USA shopping in Miami is AMAZING. I picked up this Indie Swim bikini top at a shop called The Market, plus a few more things I’ll share on the blog later 😉
The Rehearsal Dinner was on a giant yacht named the Venetian Lady. Nico and I had such a blast hanging with the bride, groom, their families, and the entire wedding party!
This was an awesome idea BTW. Such beautiful views of Miami and the Atlantic Ocean, it was amazing.
I wore a little Haute Hippie dress, unfortunately this dress is no longer available, but here are my favorite made in USA picks from Haute Hippie:
And finally!!! The wedding! The bridesmaids spent the whole day with the bride getting ready. We had a gorgeous and extremely tasty brunch, got our hair and make up done, took tons of photos (duh), and then went to the ceremony and reception together. It was so much fun, I can’t even describe!
[My sorority sisters that were also bridesmaids: Chelsea, Me, Lia, Shannon]
