Welcome to my humble abode: Here are a few made in USA items around my house
August 15, 2014
I love picking up random, unique, items for the house.
Nico and I are constantly decorating and changing things up around our place.
I work from home a lot so it’s important to be surrounded by little items that get my creative juices flowing.
Aside from work, I have to admit, I am definitely a homebody. Friday nights with a bottle of wine, Nico, and Netflix and I’m good. Creating a comfortable, unique space to spend most of my time in is definitely a must.
I am pretty much dying over these two doormats I found on the Reed Wilson Design website today.
I will either have to switch up my mats, or get more doors at my house because these are classic:

We live in a loft style town home, so when you walk in our front door you immediately head up a flight of stairs. AKA sometimes I consider that my work out for the morning. LOL.
I love going to a local flower shop in Hillcrest for these beautiful orchids. This is super easy to do and extremely low maintenance. Orchids last longer than most flowers. They look perfect for at least two weeks. I just put a few garden rocks and water at the bottom of these vases and stick the flowers in there. Its an easy way to brighten up your home and support your local florist.
When you get upstairs, the firs thing you see is Nico’s bar:
