Is there something in the air? Are the stars freaking aligned? 2015 has been good to me so far. I hope you’re having a great 2015 as well!
I swear, lately I just feel like things have been working out in the best ways possible. I’m grateful for it, especially because I know how crazy life can be. I’m definitely going to soak up this good fortune and positive vibes while I can!
2014 was a pretty stressful year, especially for Nico. He finished law school, which was awesome, but he was studying for the California State Bar Exam. I was trying to be supportive, AKA putting my crock pot cooking skills to WORK (nobody should eat that much chili), and giving him plenty of study space. But nobody knows how hard that test is unless you’ve taken it. Both intellectually and emotionally. It’s ridiculous!
Anyway, all that hard work and stress paid off because we just got notice that NICO PASSED! He passed on his first try! We are SO excited.
Congrats BABE! (Picture me clapping hands aggressively)!!
So excuse me for a second while I share my excitement, and how we’ve been celebrating. It’s been so much fun.
Nico will be focusing on small business law. He loves working with entrepreneurs!
He’s also interested in working with startups, or people looking to get into the business world. But he also just loves chatting with people that have legal questions so definitely feel free to reach out to him.
It was so great to celebrate with all of our friends and family.
I can’t say how excited and proud I am of Nico. He is a true example of somebody that had a dream, pursued it, didn’t give up, and accomplished it. I love seeing people follow their dreams and succeed. It’s so inspiring!
That’s what America is all about isn’t it?? The land of opportunity! Where dreams come true.
Nico passing the bar isn’t the only thing we’ve been celebrating…
We also celebrated the 4 year anniversary of our first date. Spent a romantic night with this kid, eating way too much, in a quiet, delicious local restaurant. Nico even gave me a little made in USA gift!
Nico gets me a ring from Armenta Jewelry every year. They are gorgeous, handmade in USA, stackable rings.
