They are based in Philly, launched in 2012, and have 40k followers on Insta AND we’re not gonna lie, their clothes are doin’ the dang thang. In the last 10 years, they have expanded their clothing brand beyond the American trench coat to include a full line of men’s apparel, as well as accessories and a smaller collection of women’s clothing.
This brand pretty much won our loyalty by making the strong statement, “Never settle for a mediocre design.” They have made an impact on the American clothing industry as a whole with their dedication to making items that are both functional and luxurious (without the hefty price tags). So needless to say babes, we are super excited to share our review of the brand, show you some of their goodies, and hear your thoughts about them as well.
American Trench Review
American Trench has factories in multiple states where they source their materials. Starting with an Argentine family-owned factory in New Jersey that produces the label’s famous trench coat using waterproof ventile fabric made from American cotton. Their cashmere (sweaters) are from Brooklyn, NY, and Texas; their wool cloth is woven in Connecticut, and their comfiest socks are from North Carolina.

Again, this is a brand that has a focus on men’s wear with a small collection of women’s clothing. We look at it as though you’re searching for a quality gift for any man in your life and get the chance to toss something for yourself into the cart. And, let’s be honest, what’s his is ours anyway, right? Purchase justified.

American Trench Clothing – Miss American Made Approved
Hopefully, the suspense isn’t killin’ you yet. Because, the BEST thing about the American Trench brand is that their products are NOT your typical off-the-rack pieces. A majority of their items, like the American Trench coats, are made at the Tailored Industry factory in Brooklyn. And, they are extremely unique. When purchasing an item, you select your preferred size and color. Those specs are sent to the factory, where a 3-D machine prints out your garment to exact measurements, shaping it precisely. Once complete, the item is shipped directly to your doorstep! In-freaking-sane!!!
Women’s Merino Hoodie
Such a versatile article of clothing that can effortlessly transition from work to the weekend to lounging. It is crafted from merino wool at Tailored Industries in Brooklyn, making it a substantial and high-quality piece (remember the 3-D printing?!).
