How To Size A Belt
Follow the add-two-inches-rule:
One of the easiest ways to size a belt is to take your waist measurements and add two inches! Sooo, if you wear a size 30, then your belt size would be a 32!
Use a tape measure:
If you don’t know your measurements, grab a tape measurer. Wrap the tape measure through your belt loops to where it’s not too tight, but not too loose, and round up to the nearest even-numbered inch.
Keep in mind where the belt will go
If you’re gonna purchase one of the belts that fit more on your waist rather than your hips, measure accordingly! You won’t want to measure your hips for a belt that’s designed for your waist follow the same kind of tape measure method, just stick to your waist instead!
Measure your other belts
If you already have a belt and are just shopping around for new ones, use your old one as a reference! You’re gonna wanna lay your belt flat and measure from the prong (or the middle of the buckle itself) to your most used belt hole.
