Non Toxic Dinnerware Made in USA

13 Insanely Chic Non Toxic Dinnerware Made In USA

When was the last time you put thought into your dinnerware? Because buying and using the wrong kind can have some seriously UGLY side effects. Don’t freak out, OK? But there could be actual toxins, like heavy metal, in your dinnerware if you choose the wrong kind. Toxins are sooo not the vibe, like can we just not?

Choosing dinnerware made from high quality, toxin-free materials is a MUST. And let’s be honest, the only way you can be sure you’re getting the GOOD STUFF is to shop with brands that are based in the United States. Seriously, US brands have some legit guidelines they have to follow when making their products, which means we can actually trust what they say.

Anyway, let’s get to it. Here’s a round up of totally GORG non-toxic dinnerware that is made in the USA.

Non Toxic Dinnerware Made In USA

13 Insanely Chic Non Toxic Dinnerware Made In USA

It’s important to look for non-toxic dinnerware because some of them have enough nasty, harmful sh*t in them to make you sick, if not right away, then over time. WTF!?!?

Lead is the worst… ew. Some of your absolute FAV foods, including acidic foods, coffee, and wine, can break down the glaze on some kinds of dinnerware. So can heating it to high temperatures. Both can cause the leaching of lead and other chemicals into your food. That’s what we mean by toxic dinnerware. Disgusting!!!

Here’s all the other crap you want to stay far away from when shopping for dinnerware:

  • Cadmium
  • Bisphenol A (BPA) & Bisphenol S (BPS)
  • Polyvinyl chloride (PVC)
  • Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) “Forever Chemicals”
  • Phthalates
  • Melamine

Yikes. So now that we’ve thrown that out there, let’s talk about the dinnerware that you totally can buy and use without nearly keeling over.

Corelle Non Toxic Dinnerware Made In USA

Corelle Vitrelle Black & White Dinnerware Set

Corelle is truly unique because they use three-layer glass to create dinnerware that is so strong, they have their own “No Chip, No Crack Guarantee.” That’s pretty helpful if you have a tendency to trip over your heels.

Corelle dinnerware is also super easy to store and neatly stack together in a crazy satisfying way. Their non-toxic dinnerware is available in so many different styles, it’s impossible not to find something totally adorbs.

Speaking of adorbs!!! The Corelle Vitrelle Black and White dinnerware set is just unique enough to stand out, without being annoying, distracting and over-the-top. The 18 piece set includes 6 dinner plates, 6 appetizer plates, and 6 soup bowls. Each piece is dishwasher, microwave, and preheat-oven safe, and they are all made in New York, USA.

Corelle Vitrelle Simple Sketch Dinnerware Set

This dinnerware set from the same Corelle company mentioned above is made from the same chip- and crack-resistant ceramic material. Rather than your standard round plate, bowl, and accessories, this set of glass dinnerware squares things up a bit. Pun intended.

This 18 piece dinnerware set includes 6 dinner plates, 6 salad plates, and 6 soup bowls. They’re made from recycled glass so you can pat yourself on the back for saving the planet or whatever. Actually, go ahead and pour yourself a glass of wine and spoil yourself with takeout. Just make sure you eat it off of your new chic dinnerware like the baddie you are.

USA Dinnerware Direct Terrace Place Setting In Gray

When you read something like “Since 1871 we have manufactured dinnerware…” you know that company knows their sh*t. That’s exactly what happened when we learned about USA Dinnerware Direct. This American company has been making dinnerware since before your grandparents were even born!

Even more than that, their dinnerware is seriously cool. This dinnerware set in particular is labeled as “gray” but it’s such a moody gray. Not a flat, boring gray. And it shines like you’ve been buffing it for hours even when you barely managed to wipe it clean. Seriously!

This 4 piece place setting from USA Dinnerware Direct includes a dinner plate, a salad plate, a mug, and a bowl. Each piece in the setting is hand-finished and made of seriously durable chip-resistant materials that are dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe.

USA Dinnerware Direct Pewter Dinner Plates

If you loved that last place setting from USA Dinnerware Direct, you’re about to LOSE IT over these dinner plates. Seriously. Is it possible to be obsessed with dinner plates? Because we totally are right now. They’re described as having “a unique peppery-speckled glaze” and are quite literally unique, with no two pieces sharing the same exact pattern, shade, or tint. They give all the moody, edgy vibes that a set of dinner plates possibly can. See for yourself!

There are four hand-finished Pewter dinner plates in this set. Each is chip-resistant and dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe.

HF Coors Dinnerware Set In Matte Black

We can’t quite explain our obsession with all things matte black, but it’s totally there and we definitely just found a way to incorporate it into our kitchen aesthetic.

HF Coors dinnerware is lead-free, chip-resistant and 100% made in the USA. The company supplies tableware to restaurants across the US, so you know this is seriously tough ceramic. If you’re looking for some badass dinnerware that will last, girl you have FOUND IT.

Each 16 piece ceramic dinnerware set includes 4 dinner plates, 4 dessert plates, 4 mugs, and 4 soup bowls. Each piece is dishwasher and microwave safe, ovenproof, and broiler and freezer safe.

HF Coors Dinnerware Set

HF Coors Dinnerware Set in Purple Aztec Pattern

This dinnerware set is made by the same company as above, HF Coors, but this set features a purple glaze and a distinct Azetc pattern around the rim.

Before you snub this set, you should know that this isn’t your typical vibrant violet. We’re talking about an edgy shade of purple that is much more eggplant than grape.

This 16 piece ceramic dinnerware set includes 4 dinner plates, 4 dessert plates, 4 mugs, and 4 soup bowls. We already said this once, but we’ll say it again for good measure. Everything from HF Coors is lead-free, dishwasher and microwave safe, ovenproof, and broiler and freezer safe.

Kate Spade New York Cypress Point Dinnerware Place Setting

Kate Spade has come a long way as a brand since its launch in 1993. The company started small, with just six handbags and nearly 30 years later is now a global brand still known for its handbags, but offering so much more. If you know anything about fashion, you know Kate Spade. Although, if you didn’t know Kate Spade also sold dinnerware, you’d totally get a pass since, unfortunately, a lot of people don’t.

And about that dinnerware… girls. It’s fabulous! Seriously, you just HAVE to see it for yourself. Dare we use the words “understated elegance”? ‘Cause that’s totally what’s going on here.

If you’re a chick who avoids brightly colored housewares, this dinnerware set is for you. Because it lacks color completely. But like… that’s the point? It’s simple. It’s STUNNING. And it totally fits that Upper East Side aesthetic.

This Kate Spade set includes one dinner plate, one salad plate, one bread plate, one cup, and one saucer. The Cypress Point collection adds a touch of elegance with bands of silver detail along the rim. And then the platinum accents of each piece are just enough to make each piece of white bone china shine a bit brighter. Oh, and this set is dishwasher safe.

Kate Spade Parker Place Setting

This 5-piece plate setting from Kate Spade New York is so chic. The hand-painted black lines add a touch of sophistication without coming off like a total snobby b*tch. But tbh, this dinnerware set makes you feel a bit uppity without overdoing it and we LOVE it.

This ceramic dinnerware set is both dishwasher safe and chip resistant. Plus, it’s made in the USA. Each 5-piece place setting includes one dinner plate, one salad plate, one bread plate, one cup, and one saucer. You can pretend you’ll use the saucer for tea, and maybe you actually will, but you can def use it for wine and we won’t judge!

Fiesta Place Setting in Cobalt Blue

With a name like Fiesta, we knew this American company would be right on point. We weren’t disappointed. They managed to craft dinnerware that adds just the right pop of color to your kitchen, without being completely obnoxious. Their Cobalt Blue place setting is currently out of stock, but we totally adore the Slate and Mulberry options. Although, tbh, the Scarlet reminds us of our favorite sexy red lipstick and would look totally killer with the right kitchen decor.

A 4 piece place setting from Fiesta includes 1 mug, 1 salad plate, 1 dinner plate, and 1 medium bowl. Each setting is dishwasher, oven, and microwave safe. They’re made of lead-free china and, of course, are 100% made in the USA!

Simon Pearce Burlington Collection in Moss Glen

Simon Pearce Burlington Collection in Moss Glen

If you prefer a more boho aesthetic, we got you girl!! The Burlington collection from Simon Pearce is so gorg, your besties are going to press you for all the deets.

This Simon Pearce collection was inspired by the earthy spirit of Burlington. Rather than a totally uniform shape, each piece features a unique, freehand pinch-pot design. The Bluff pieces have a soft touch of neutral glaze that is “applied with an artistic drip technique along the edges.” Each piece in the collection is legit one-of-a-kind, just like you girl!! *mwah*

The Burlington collection includes dinner plates, side plates, pasta bowls, and mugs. The entire collection is lead and cadmium free, as well as dishwasher and microwave safe.

Simon Pearce Barre Collection in Slate

Simon Pearce took the words right out of our mouths with this one. The Barre collection is “distinctly organic modern. It’s the perfect way to spice up any traditional place setting.”

Yep. Spot on. We LOVE this dinnerware collection, not only because of its nearly midnight black hue. But also because each piece in the Barre collection is handmade by Simon Pearce potters and features soft, asymmetrical edges. This stoneware pottery is lead and cadmium free, 100% made in the USA, and also available in Alabaster (white).

The Barre collection includes bowls, dinner plates, side plates, mugs, pitchers, serving bowls, pasta bowls, and dip bowls. There’s also a Barre collection serving platter available in Slate, which would totally come in handy for any party hosting you plan on doing this holiday season.

Pickard Signature Dinnerware Collection in Gold

Pickard China is a company that currently offers nearly 3,000 products made right here in the USA. They’ve been around since 1893, so it’s a heritage brand you can trust. Plus, considering Pickard China is used in some of the most regal, elite settings in the world, like the United Nations and American Embassies, you can literally dine like one of them

We love the Signature dinnerware collection in Gold. You have the option of adding a monogram if you want for an extra, elegant touch. Each piece is made of exclusive clay and a soft white glaze, then finished with a stunning burnished 24k gold fillet.

The Signature dinnerware collection is available in individual pieces or in a 5-piece place setting that includes a dinner plate, salad plate, bread and butter plate, teacup, and saucer.

Hands and Fire Blue Stoneware Dinnerware Set

For a heavier, almost rustic feel, we recommend this blue stoneware dinnerware set from Hands and Fire. It’s much more suited to a boho aesthetic than bone china, but still elegant enough to brag about.

Each piece of pottery from Hands and Fire is thrown and glazed individually, so they’ll be similar in size, shape, and color, but each is totally unique. LOVE LOVE LOVE! Plus, this pottery comes from a small business in Georgia, USA. Major WIN!

Each microwave safe, lead-free dinnerware set includes a dinner plate, salad plate, soup bowl, dessert bowl, and mug. Just FYI, because the production processes take longer for hand-thrown stoneware, you’ll want to allow for extra time when you order a dinnerware set from Hands and Fire.
